NEW LOCKER SYSTEM

Metra have launched their new locker system which incorporates a reader for each individual compartment. The reader's colour and design can be personalised to suit a club's own particular stile. The system incorporates all the existing features of their well established LCC locker control product such as on-line monitoring of locker occupancy and built in alarm. It has been engineered around their robust lock, of which many tens of thousands are in use today

CONVENIENT CHIPS

Metra's smart chip has so many uses in terms of access control, locker control and cashless vending that many clubs and spas have asked for different ways for users to carry the chip around a club or facility. Metra can of course imbed the chip into wristbands or cards, but have introduced a clip which holds the chip and can be clipped onto a robe, swimming costume or other garment. The clip can be supplied in different colours and can have the club's logo applied to it.

FINGERPRINT READER

Metra's locker system can use different cards or tags but some clubs wanted to go much further in terms of user convenience and introduce fingerprint identification. Metra have now incorporated this into their locker system, and illustrated here is a control unit incorporating both finger print identification and keypad operation, as well as a coin collector mechanism.

SKI THEFT ON THE SLIDE

"Ski Depot" system rolled out by Metra. Resorts in Switzerland and Italy are using this to eliminate theft of visitors skis. Theft of visitors skis has been a major problem for ski slope operators, but Metra's new system gives visitors a convenient way of locking their skis whilst enjoying their "apres ski".
